I'm just playing with my new iPod and I've got a couple of problems...

main one is that when I'm copying music, it's 'registering' the artists on an album separately - so I've got mulitple artists for one album!

e.g. copying the new Gorillaz album means I've got Gorillaz, Gorillaz feat. xxxx, Gorillaz & xxx, etc, etc.... listed in the artist section..

I've tried to rename the groups while in the library but I can't see any way to do it..

can anyone help/give me some advice??

Are you copying from PC or direct from CD?

Can you download the cd onto your pc and look at the tagging properties? You may be able to alter them here then recopy to you Ipod.

well at the moment, I'm transferring (converting) from Windows media to iTunes then to the pod

I'll try burning a cd directly to the iTunes instead..

I thought that I'd be able to do the same in iTunes as I do in Windows i.e. click the artist and 'rename' but it doesn't seem to want to work! [IMG]

    Are you using iTunes software?

    If you are:

Select each track you want to rename by holding CTRL and clicking on them. (Or use shift and select the top and bottom of a list with your mouse)
Hit the right mouse button to get the menu and select the first option - "get info".

You should then to add Gorillaz in the Artist box and click ok.
