Anyone any idea how I can get iTunes to recognise my new ipod. I've just received a new one from apple after my last one broke. However when I come to update it, nothing happens at all. I think this may be due to the fact that its a different serial number.

Anyone any ideas how to get it working???

    Cheers

My new one stopped working last week, but started again this week. Seems like that they have a high failure rate which doesn't bode well.

Was it much hassle changing it?

In answer to your query, I would unistall iTunes and start it again from scratch. Let me know how you get on with it.

just bought my daughter a mini iPod for her birthday. After 3 days it displays a blank screen. It still plays and iTunes recognises it but I have updated it and tried everything I can and it's still fu**ed!. THREE DAYS!!. Can't make head nor tail of the warranty info on the Apple website!!

Took me ages to find the warranty form on the website. You need to click FAQ on the ipod support section and theres a link from there. Took around 4 weeks to come back with a brand new one. Just need to get the bugger to work now!

Not much hassle no. Apparently ipods warranty service covers fanta spillage!! Didn't tell them that though. I'll have a gander on the website and see if it says anything. If not then it looks as if I'll have to uninstall it.
