I currently have an Ipod mini (bought it when it first came out over here in the Us so I can be excused!) but it is dying a slow and painful death. I am thinking about buying a Creative Zen 4GB player. My question is how easy is it to transfer my 600+ tracks from iTunes to the software that I would use for the Creative (what is this software)?

    Thanks in advance

    RE: btt n/t

Thanks - I never got 18 hours of battery out of my Mini - most was around 3 hours - now it is around 30 mins. I definitely like the idea of a replaceable battery though.

Creative Mediascourse Organiser is the software, comes with the best media player about IMO. It is what it says , a way to organise your music BUT. it's just a front end drag and drop to get tunes onto the player,

You can still just drag and drop from Explorer, as for getting it from ITunes, don't know the software it uses but so long as they are in Mp3 format I'd say you can just drag and drop the whole bunch. If not then you have to convert them back to Mp3.

Creative is excellent stuff. Strong, robust design and works very well.

Have you considered the 20gb Creative Zen? Holds around 5000 tracks, superb filing system and probably not that much dearer than a 6gb.
