Help me please! I made a playlist in itunes for my iPod video, I know wish to play some other songs but all I have to choose from are the songs on the playlist. How do I correct this please? Is it possible to keep all playlists (I only have one at the minute) and switch between them and the normal library?

    Thanks

I have a Creative and it's easy to do playlists. I have created several, and yes you can switch from playlist to normal library.

I would imagine that the ipod is similar. How did you create the playlist? Did you do it via the player or through your pc?

    should be easy

In the left hand control panel you should have your playlists somewhere near the bottom. At the top is 'Music'. If you click on 'Music' all your library will appear. If you click on one of your playlists the subset will appear.

To create a new playlists select 'new' 'playlist', rename it. Then select and drag songs from your main music library and drop them over your playlist name.

PS you can only burn a CD from a playlist, so if you want to convert from MP3 to audio and put on a CD you have to create a playlist of the songs you want first. When you are viewing a playlist an icon should appear in the bottom right of the screen to allow you you burn CD.

    Hope this helps.

    Can do that bit....

....in itunes, but once the playlist is on my ipod I can only listen to whatever is in the playlist, nothing else. I deleted the playlist from itunes, synched my ipod, and lost everything!

    Help!!!

Surely I can't be the first to experience this.

I've looked everywhere and can't find anything on the web.

    Am scratching my head now!!
