I've got an 8GB Ipod touch, well its supposed to be 8GB. When I got it and first plugged it into my computer around 20 months ago, it said the capacity was 7.8GB (well they're never exactly what they claim), but I got a new laptop a few months back, and decided to make a new itunes library, with 7.24GB of music in it, i removed all my apps except from a few (Angry birds etc) but noticed that the Ipod's capacity these days is only 6.8GB, wheres the other 1.2GB gone and is there anyway of getting it back? I've trimmed my library down to 6.4GB and the rest is taken up by 4 apps and 150 album arts. I assume it's to do with new software installed when I update, can anyone help? cheers, TIA
Re: Anyone? nt Probably the software taking up ths space - it's like 250GB computers - you never get that because some of it will be held over for the computers operating system etc
Re: Anyone? nt Can you download a previous copy of the software and load that on? Google restore Ipod software - just looked and there are loads of pages on the subject
