Hopefully this will please people, the Don tells me it's been changed to a CAT C game following it being moved for sky tv!! I still don't think many will come the game before xmas when it's on sky and we have Blackpool at home boxing day followed by Weeds NYE at CAT A games! I said this should have been a massive happy xmas from BFC promo game, £5 adults, £2 students/oaps and £1 kids, fill the ground up on sky. Not many will come even at £16 when on sky, but at least it's better than £30. I really think we would get a good crowd at £5 adults, £2 students/oaps and £1 kids though!! Then give everyone who comes in a leaflet for the big xmas games, maybe even £10 off a ticket if you buy both etc!!
I think it shows some understanding on the club's part Perhaps the start of a more sensible rethink on some pre-season set prices.
Re: I think it shows some understanding on the club's part it must be finally sinking in to the don!!
Decent offer that will only end up being thrown back in the club's face. What will ****, Johnny Coachman et al come up with this time to avoid going?
Regardless of the cost we will get 500 BFC fans paying on the day and a handful of Ipswich fans. That is around our fan base right now, and until we challenge at the top then we will not increase that, no matter whether its 30 quid or 16 quid. Lighter crowd than Bristol more than likely.
Bet Ipswich still charge us 30 sheckels at their sh*thole.. yes, I am now referring to non-sh*thole grounds, as sh*tholes, as it seems to be the latest trend
But Fraser32, that would be innovative, and our board will have none of that Your right an Xmas present of a cheap game is an excellent opportunity for great PR and to try and get more through the gate. Ears and deaf spring to mind though.
