It's amazing how so many teams seem to have their worst game of the season against us according to the fans...do they not realise if the opposition play better than you that you aren't going to look that good no matter what you do? Ipswich do have some better players than us on paper but the fact they've been struggling for so long suggests they are lacking in the ability to play as a team combined with players who's best days are behind them. I can't see them getting sucked into the relegation places though, they will continue to improve under Mick. It's mad that their spending is probably on a par with the likes of Leicester yet it just hasn't happened for them. I get the feeling that when you're in our position financially you tend to get a lot more from each pound spent than when you've got money to throw around.
It's interesting to see another clubs fans rating Perkins as the difference or our best player yet again. Off the top of my heads that's supporters from Ipswich, palace, Leeds, Millwall, birmigham and the Wendies who have all said the same thing. He is pivotal to us regardless what division we are in.
When we played Charlton away I tried to pretend we were the ones in red. The opposition were fantastic and battered us.
Twas the same last season. I always pop on the opposition forums before and after games, and Perkins is the one player that always gets good reviews. If we go down, and he and Dawson stay, I think they'd run that division. Hope we never have to find out, mind.
Game should have been postponed and conditions favoured us? How? And why would it favour the team who plays football and not goofball?
A likely story. Do you mean you were so pissed up you didn't realise we WEREN'T the ones in red until we scored and everyone around you cheered?
Didn't get that bit about the postponement either - agree about teams having their worse games against us - Leeds were the same
