Crikey. Actually think he's a decent player but 1 million is just ridiculous. Expecially considering how little he has done in last 2-3 years. Sent from my SM-J510FN using Tapatalk
Ipswich seem to make a habit of picking up very average players and being very average year after year.
Since Mick's first two years where he turned them round and got them into the Play-Offs they've slowly slipped down the league and from what I see of Ipswich fans on twitter alot of them want him gone
Exactly mate. I said similar to my dad. When he was about 25/26 he seemed to be firing them in for Preston but last few years gone massively down hill.
It's crackers. Good point about his age aswell. 1 million for a 29 year old who has scored 16 goals in his last 81 games in the championship and Scotland. Sent from my SM-J510FN using Tapatalk
Decent league 1 striker. Proper big time Charlie from what I remember. Think Preston were 2-1 up and his gamesmanship was as bad as I'd ever seen. Throwing himself around. Rolling around etc. As soon as we'd equalised, he was like lightening. Straight up to his feet, no cheating. Etc. Up their with one of the worst sportsmen I've seen at the well. And that includes Conor Hourihane. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk
...and celebrated like a tw@t in front of Ponty when scoring against us for Preston. Pulled his shorts up to his chest and started flapping his tongue about. What a nob, crowd hadn't even been on his back coz he wasn't all that anyway. Same reason why I think Tom Cairney's a right tit for how he celebrated when scoring for Blackburn against us. It's as if they want the crowd to hate them for being such a good player, when said crowd actually had no opinion of these players til they celebrated like that in front of em.
Honestly don't know what Mick is thinking here. Joe Garner is a proven League One goalscorer who cant do it at Championship level. Marley, Bradshaw and Winnall all beat his best Championship tally for a season at their first attempt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Average. Preston did well to get shut of him, after he struggled in their first season back in the Championship. Signings like this make me much that happier we're signing players I've never heard of, with names like Angus.
Outstanding League 1 striker, mediocre Championship one. Some of our fans wanted him back but that's just those who can't look past sentiment.
All those opinions on here and you pick on mine. Again. Making a habit of it now and its really weird. Obsessive almost. Are you still drinking a lot? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
