I have my ticket and will post a full report, either on Tuesday night, or Wednesday morning - depends how knackered I feel on Tuesday. Early thoughts, having seen the Ipswich match on tv tonight - they have too many 'has beens' and 'nearly weres.' Richard Wright never fulfilled his potential at Arsenal and Everton and looks like the prodigal who has returned home without having achieved the glorious career foretold for him - and now knowing that he never will. He made a couple of good stops, but was terrible on crosses. Miller looks off the pace and past it. Campo got about twenty minutes and that was almost certainly because he is not really match-fit. Counago is another who looks past it and didn't get much into the game. The Tractor Boys should consider the performance of Garvan, who was outstanding when he came on - a real threat down their left flank on Tuesday = so Fozzy had better get ready - I think Garvan will start on Tuesday. McAuley looked good at the back alongside Naylor. Walters is a threat down the flanks - he might start as a striker on Tuesdym if Garvan starts. Stead looked class and took his (quite straight forward) goal well. We should be able to get something from Tuesday's game, as long as Ipswich are as bad again and as long as we perform as well as today. Best wishes to the lads in the Reds shirts I met in Budgens on their way to the match. See you Tuesday.
