Gutted for them. They took Argentina the distance and more than deserved something from the game. Should have had a penalty.
They deserved at least a draw, possibly all three points but were robbed by a moment of individual quality. I feel for them.

It was harsh. They played with real tenacity and punched above their weight. They also succeeded in grinding Argentina down. The looks on the faces of the players and fans before Messi scored said it all. It was a very special strike, but ten or fifteen minutes earlier I don't think Messi would've got that room on the edge of the box. Some very tired Iranian legs at the end of that match, they gave absolutely everything.
