I wonder how many of those Barnsley fans that chanted "scabs" at Nottingham Forest last week are amongst the 3,500 Barnsley fans at Blackpool today which most home fans are boycotting in protest at the owners?
Completely unnecessary. Its Blackpool's boycott, not ours. They encouraged us to come and support our team but asked if we would help by not buying drinks etc from the ground.
We couldn't even bring ourselves to boycott the games where we were getting ripped off, i.e. Leeds and Wednesday, so what chance did Blackpool's cause have.
Other than save from bankruptcy Take them to the premiership Bud them a new stadium Be widely. Applauded. For. Standing up to agents What's oyston. Done wrong
Successive relegations leaving Blackpool a division lower than when he took over is quite impressive too.
Read previous Blackpool posts on here about syphoning £100 million from club to their various businesses. Also, is someone who states he'll take them into non-league a fit and proper person to run a football club?
Well he did claim that he was attempting to take them down to none league level. Oh and he and his 'companies' took over £20m from the club when they were in the premiership
You obviously didn't bother reading this from another thread. "Despite an estimated £100m windfall from our year in the Premiership, the club has dropped to the bottom tier of the EFL with two successive relegations. Instead of investing in a sustainable legacy for the football club, the owners preferred to remunerate themselves and oversee large interest-free loans to Oyston companies. "The Oystons’ treatment of supporters is arguably even more dreadful than their management of the club. They have taken the unprecedented step of suing many prominent fans for ‘defamation’ for daring to criticisetheir custodianship of the club."
Is this really a thread comparing a strike that had the intention of saving 1000's of working people's jobs and a protest over the ownership of a football club?
No. Valeri belokon invested a LOT of money into the club which saw them promoted. Oyston and his rapist dad then took a lot for money out of the club which is why legal action was started against them by minority shareholders. And your views on him stating that he intended to see Blackpool relegated to none league? Or your views on him calling a supporter a retard?
