Is 11 games a season for 14 years really experience?

I think not. Colgan has played 11 games a season since 1991, for me that is not experience. Ok it adds up to 160 games but that is 160 games spread out over 2 decades.

Which experience is more important? the experience of sitting on the bench for 3 quarters of the season every year and playing 160 games in total or the experience of having just come back from playing for england, the experience of having played with austin, williams, kay, tonge and wroe in the same academy side and knowing their strengths and weaknesses and the experience of being your clubs number one as the last season ended?

you cant tell me that it is dangerous to play flinders because he is young. thats just ********, he is a keeper and it makes no difference how young he is. if hes good enough, hes old enough. and flinders is certainly better than the man that ended last season as dundee's THIRD choice keeper.

Well said, though I don't yet advocate dropping Colgan now he's been given the chance.
