Not from an entertainment / fans point of view. From those in charge. Is it better to lose without scoring but be tight at the back. Or showing ability to score but lose goals for fun? What's easiest/hardest to improve, work on, change? It's still no points in the board like, I know that. If all 7 defeats had been 3-2 4-3 etc would we be feeling the same? Same points on the board, just interested in folks opinions.
Scoring goals is the hardest thing to do, so I would rather see us scoring than not....however as for tonight we have to remember two were set pieces.
Agree with sadbrewer, scoring goals is the hardest thing to do. Take each of the defeats in isolation and I'm far less worried about the performance tonight, where we've created lots of chances and scored three goals than I have been about some of the lowering scoring defeats when we've created **** all. Difficult to be optimistic about anything at the moment though when it's the 7th defeat on the bounce.
Take 4-3 all day over 1-0. those goals may well cone in bloody handy. If we are to rely on goal difference. Because at level pegging. Goals scored come next. *taking anything for hope at the minute*
I came away tonight feeling quite a bit better than in any of our previous 6 defeats. It was another defeat of course, but we've had so few goals to cheer recently I couldn't help but look on the bright side somewhat. I think if you score as well you get that belief back that you might be able to get something from a game that previously looked to have gone. What I will say though is that, though there was more intent to go forward, shots were still few and far between from open play and that HAS to change if we're to break this horrific run.
1- 0 4 - 3 All you need to know is we lost and the stench of the losing mentality is rife at BFC and will remain so until changes are forthcoming.
