    and we all went cricket mad in the summer. Ok we beat the aussies. but what sort of game can you play for 5 days and not have a winner?

    Made quite a good living out of it (yawn); German Champion(yawn), played in loads of tournaments (yawn), played all the big names (yawn), had his own club (yawn)......

    It's a close call that one

    Both tedious at times, but I prefer cricket. Never seen the country get behind snooker players like they did to the cricketers!

    He'd always back-spin away from the brown, but he was quite good a potting the pink though. Alledgedly.

    interestingly though

    i was reading a bit ago, that the ratings figures for the final of the world snooker final last year, wear higher than the peak viewing figures during the ashes. I mean its all down to preference really. I like snooker, and enjoy playing it.

    WHAT A FINAL IT WAS MATE EH!

    Possibly the best final I have ever seen. Prefer to play snooker than watch, but then again its the same with footy I think at times.</p>

    Never knew Higgins was that good. Deffo improved a lot this year. Ronnie was out of sorts at times though - and out of luck.</p>

    Cant believe though a player of his quality never won the Masters!</p>
