Long journey, midweek, no form, not scoring, oposition wanting revenge for the play-offs, key players missing. This fixture has a sound thrashing written all over it. Not being negative (well maybe a bit), but 20 years of supporting the reds tells me to expect the worse.
You never know- but I'm not expecting anything In our favour- Simon will want to beat his home side. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/swansea_city/7772423.stm Sometimes these results just come at unexpected times- look at how we battered Plymouth midweek the other season when Disco scored from 35 yards. Swansea's home form is great, they've slipped against Birmingham and thats pretty much it. It'll be very very difficult
RE: You never know- but I'm not expecting anything Also when we beat Watford last season after Wembley. I have to be optimistic - wouldn't keep going otherwise! And don't mention this season at Ipswich!
RE: You never know- but I'm not expecting anything Well, not wanting to be pessimistic, but Watford had given up by the time we played them at the Vic last year. Its a different story this early, which is what made that Plymouth game a shock, cos they were good as well that year. I hope we win for you mate, and that you don't have too much walking to do when you get there! I'm listening on wireless- I was considering going, in fact 3 weeks ago it was nailed on, but I can't face it in December.
Yup We are due a result and I dont think we have been playing too badly, apart from the goalscoring bit that is.
