    That we haven't signed anyone who's going to get anywhere near the starting XI yet? And it seems pretty clear that Hume is going to be ready at least for the start of the season...

    Not trying to be confrontational, I just don't see how anybody could rationally not expect us to be in the bottom six when we've got a weaker team than the one that nearly got relegated last year.

    I'm not....

    ....yet, anyway.

    We're after Championship quality players. They're all at Premiership/Championship clubs who won't want to get shut at the minute or until they've got their targets sorted or know where they stand

    I'm sure we'll have a couple in by the first game and then probably a couple more after that before the window closes.

    For me, it's very simple

    I can't comment on our prospects for the season because I don't know what the squad is going to be yet.

    We may be

    It depends possibly on some of the younger players who may be on the fringe, plus on the Hume situation which no-one really knows about. I can understand people being impatient about signings, but I don't understand why "no news is bad news".

    I believe that we will sign at least 3 players before the season starts, and possibly 2 more before the window closes. Until I see who these players are and see them play, I can't say how we will do this season.

    In reality, yes. But I think we wil sign another 3 players before the season starts - probably Hamill and 2 others.
