I dont think the official site would have any problem with a link We just havent yet a means of permanently displaying links without making them stickys
RE: I dont think the official site would have any problem with a link still smacks of shooting themselves in the foot as it were. and well, still tickles in the back of my head if they aren't violating some sort of international trade law by forcing folks like me to pay to hear games on the internet. think that might fall under laws here setup to go against organized crime...hhmmmmmmmm should look into that me...LOL
I dont think the club had anything to do with the football league sending us the letter. It seems the football league have decided to spend money persuing fan sites rather than sorting out their own security. If you really want something to get upset about read http://www.bsad.org/0506/reports/fixtures_letter.html Closing sites down for advertising when fixtures are taking place that people can pay to watch ffs
No different Tracy To us having to pay to hear radio commentary online for baseball or NFL. Not that I do - just that it used to be free. It's not down to Barnsley charging for commentary, it's the Football League who own the rights.
RE: I dont think the club had anything to do with the football league The commentary is one thing - I can understand that, they have the rights and a marketeble commodity....the fictures one though is just plain stupid - can't put a list of who a team are playing - bizzare!
they cant copyright someone reporting the match as they see/hear it. and the fixture list thing is just stupid.
