    apparently chairmens said their not negotiating sturrocks new contract which runs out at end of season until xmas,sturrock says discussing this in public is not professional bla bla bla

    because....

    1. Any worthwhile journalist would ask a chairman about the manager contract situation.
    2. Fans have a right to know what is happening to their club.

    now where is that written ?? Perhaps they would like to know, but a right, I think not, unless the club is a public quoted company

    He threatened to stop reporting any more Wendy stories

    Wednesday fans are accusing Paul Walker of "stirring it" regarding Stirrock & Allen.

    He also announced that the club had signed Brad Jones prior Wendy's official statement - even though the story was already on the Boro web site.

    A few people rang in the have a go at him - so he suggested to them that Radio Sheffield would cease to broacast and further news reports regarding the Wendy's.

    That's why it stuck in my mind.

    He had a real ding-dong with one bloke who insisted that he should only broadcast official club statements.
