Is BFC really a pokey little tin-pot club?

We seem unable to attract high profile players here, even with decent facilities & ambitious plans. Instead we end up taking risks with unknowns, lower league players and those past their best.

I guess wages are a factor, but are we so unfashionable that nobody wants to come to us?

If "supporters" are so negative about the club

often with little cause to be so, its little wonder we have trouble attracting the better signings, irrespective of wages.

    Quick question.

How was my reply, showing hoe our supporters are negative/
I said that is how we are seen from the outsiders viewpoint, which was answering the question.
You on the other hand took the chance to have a dig at me. I really do think you would be dangerous with a full brain cell.

    RE: not so sure

How does expressing an opinion on this forum affect the perception of players outside BFC?

Perhaps if we filled Oakwell on matchdays and made more (encouraging) noise then that would help.

What about "fans" that shout abuse at players during matches. Then there are all those empty seats - except for local derbies & big FA Cup matches
