That's what Andrew Lodge asks in the Chronicle today. Should fans be simply happy with a win? Should they still boo no matter what the result if we play crap? Does paying to watch it entitle people to be disgruntled even after back to back wins?
It is He is entitled to comment on the fans just as much as they are entitled to voice their opinion on the performance.
RE: It is Agree he is entitled to voice his opinion on the fans but he's not going to win player of the season again the big cry baby, and who was booing anyway.....the Blackpool fans
He is entitled to. I can understand his frustration. I'm pi$$ed of about the reaction of some so called fans so i know he will be
All this slagging off of customers from players and Directors isn't going to help the situation of either disgruntled fans at the matches or bring more fans in, they should belt up .......the bunker mentality at Oakwell pi$$es me off
I'm more concerned... ...about Howard's comments in The Star. "We know that we can go down to Wolves now and hopefully have a game of football and express ourselves because we have nothing to lose because we're up there near the top."</p> I hope that doesn't mean we are going to take our foot off the gas and turn in the sort of spineless display we did at Hull and Leicester after going 6th.</p> The pressure isn't off. We are currently 1 point better off than Luton were at the corresponding week last season and they ended up going down! </p>
Am I the only one who heard no booing at the end? Some booed when we attempted to time waste with a corner which is a bit negative even at the end.
I was in The Ponty and I didn't hear any booing. Just a muted reaction which was mainly down to us not knowing the game was over.
After watching Barnsley for going on 30 years Ive never booed once. Never understood it really. However I also think we were apalling on Monday. This "We were shattered " story runs a bit thin seeing as we were giving the ball away straight from the kick off. We will see how good we are after tomorrows game which is always a tough one . Apart from that time when we stuffed them 0-5.
End Of January That's when I reckon we will truely know if we still have a chance of going up. If we still have Lewin, if we still have Howie, if we still have Muller, if we are still around this position etc. A lot of factors are going to come into play when the new year kicks in. January could be a nervous time with the transfer market open for us.
