Nope Like practically our entire squad he's a one trick pony. Val knew that and played to their strengths. Paul Conway and his mouthpieces don't.
Zero end product and on todays showing not so good at other end. Well off the pace compared to last season.
He's a bang average tryer who will run up and down the wing constantly and give 100% without having any skills at either end of the pitch. He is one of the worst wing backs we've ever had defensively. Not because of a lack of effort but a lack of ability. Attacking he has absolutely no end product. I like the lad on a personal level because his effort and workrate has got him to an high standard in the championship however I feel that when we aren't playing to the strengths of that workrate and effort he is nowhere near the required standard. Personally I am a lot more infuriated by the likes of Benson and Palmer who could perform better if they gave a **** than someone who is giving it their all. In fact if I was Brittain I would hate them two for taking the piss and ruining their own careers whilst I'm doing everything I can knowing it's as far as I can go.
Poor today and has got room for improvement but I'm a big fan of his and he's definitely a player that I'd like to see stay for next season.
One of the most over rated players at the club last season. There is no doubt the system and style suited him under Val. But as soon as you lose a couple of key quality players, there is absolutely no hiding place for any player. And he is certainly one player who has suffered by the change in style and lack of quality around him.
On that lest sentence I'd say that Collins, helik, Andersen, styles, Palmer, Woodrow, Morris and many more have also all suffered by the change in style too
On the hole id say yes.. but he's not the world beater some think he is. But also not the ****** others think
He’s a decent enough wing back, but he’s not a like for like replacement for Williams in the system we’ve been playing recently.
