He also wants to be more involved in the game and not the focal point of the attack. His game isn’t chasing down hopeless balls and being the target man. It works when the balls in to him are controlled, but that requires quality and isn’t always possible when you’re in our position.
It worries me how much he seems to struggle at the end. I'd have had him off once it was obvious we weren't getting back in it, last thing we need is him out through injury again!
Are we doing a rinse and repeat Woodrow thread? Yes Morris is good but we have a team with little creativity and no ability to turn defence into attack quickly so any forward looks pedestrian
At what ? If you mean football then yes he is very good , but if you mean something else then please elaborate .
He's a bit of an enigma cos he's tall but his talent lies in doing things that smaller footballers do. Like turning and taking the defender on. Yet he'll always get his share of balls in the air which is not his forte. Though he holds it up much better than Woodrow. As a coach I imagine he's a bit difficult to make the best of. But he's a Championship player for definite, unlike some others we have.
Yes - if he’s fit all season In a decent championship side he’d easily have 10+ goals. Strong, good feet and decent in the air he can score all types of different goals as we’ve seen. He was frustrated today probably with how negatively we set up. He’s far too good for league one that for sure.
He did well today, worked really hard, held the ball up and almost scored in the first half. He was constantly grappled by defenders and only got one free kick all game. Took his frustration out on their keeper at the end.
I can't believe this question has been asked really. Lose a game of football and all of a sudden we question one of the best players at our club.
