As I said the other day, he's a 21st century version of Michael Foot.

Intellectual but a complete fool. Fits Labour very well. Unelectable.

Sigh. He said IS will only be defeated by bringing an end to the civil war in Syria.

1930s appeasement with the Nazis comes to mind.

Double sigh - I just heard him on sky news and that's nothing like what he said. He categorically said that the only way to get peace is to negotiate with them. It's a fact, not fiction, these are his words.

"The dreadful Paris attacks make the case for a far more urgent effort to reach a negotiated settlement of the civil war in Syria and the end to the threat from Isis," Mr Corbyn said.

"It is the conflict in Syria and the consequences of the Iraq war which have created the conditions for Isis to thrive and spread its murderous rule.

"Everyone, including Muslims in Britain, wants to see the defeat of the murderous and reactionary cult of Isil."

I'm all for peace but you think anyone can negotiate with people who are basically inhuman as demonstrated by their recent acts of barbarity?

What does it hurt to try? If it doesn't work then I'm sure people will be more than happy to keep bombing them.

Jeremy Corbyn is an able politician but is alienating members of his own party with some strange statements and policies he wants to pursue.

We live in 2015 not the 80s hence the reason the folk of this country will never give him a mandate to lead this country.

Its time ALL parties put aside party politics and unite as one with the government in power to eradicate ISIS.

If that requires military action so be it

IMHO what was happen in the 1930's was complicated, consider for example what was the form of said appeasement and what was the reason that the British and French governments gave at the time.

What polices have been followed by Western governments in recent years?, attack Iraq in 2003 in order to effect regime change - civil war results and continuing in 2015 and perhaps allows ISIS to develop, Libyan civil war starts, Western govts start bombing - civil war continuing in 2015 - room for extremists to develop, Syria Civil war starts, Western govts and Middel Eastern govts fund various extermists - civil war continues allows extremists to grow into ISIS.

Repeating the same failed polices would seem to indicate there are may politicians out there that are not playing with a full deck.

He is a joke said other day he wants a explanation why jihad John was killed and not brought to justice. I'd rather not bring a mudering terrorist back to England so my taxes can feed and clothe him. This country needs someone with some testicles to sort it out.
