CJ. This self-righteous indignation 'by proxy' is way over the top. Unless a comment is intentionally offensive and aimed at a specific person, or, more to the point, yourself (assuming you are, in this case a homosexual man), what right have you to complain. Whilst I don't personally subscribe to jokes about homosexuals and lesbians, Irish, Welsh, Scots, disabled etc. etc. I see no reason to climb up on a high horse and start trying to get people banned or jump onto the PC bandwagon. In other words 'GET A LIFE!' or focus on true acts of real discrimination - there are enough examples in the world without worrying about a bit of banter that is not intended to cause offence except to those who seek to take it!

That's why I've had him on my ignore list since I got fed up of him. It's easy to do - it would be great if more people would do it then he would soon get fed up when no-one rises to the bait.

 

I think its quite funny that he manages to wind so many in,he'd have fitted in well with us lot who worked darn't pit.

Sounds a bit too serious to be a WUM. If he is he is bloody good at it except I always thought being a WUM meant adding a bit of entertainment value. Where's the fun in his rants?

 

depends where from and how you look at his rants,I cant believe anybody gets drawn in by them,some people are a bit wet behind the lughole if you ask me.

 

I drink with quite a few ex pit lads and they do like to take the piss, however I'm pretty sure if he'd continually accused one of them of something with no let up I know what the outcome would have been,

 

CJ is ok, we need all types of posters on here otherwise it would get very boring. Bring back Thereev while we're at it.

 

OK understood. I just get p*ssed off at people who sit in attics firing off complaints about everything and anything they find 'offensive' in their tiny minds. The best and funniest 'disabled' or 'mong' jokes (oops sorry CJ!) I heard actually came from all disabled people I knew. He would be apoplectic if he heard some of them :-;
