A. Utterly clueless and blind to our faults B. Too stubborn to admit he got it wrong C. Trying to get a pay off ?
D. Struggling to see that his **** formation that he refuses to change is costing us games every week. Isn't that just a rewording of A?
I dunno. But he's definitely struggling. A couple of wins and who knows? But I've been saying that for a while.
Or E Managing at a club that's only just awoken from its slumber of the last 8 years or so and now is so far behind in many ways it's towing like **** to catch up, meaning the ethos has had to change. Plus making mistakes of his own
Disagree. Us being **** for years doesn't mean that trotta, Kane hemmings and kiwomya are defensive right midfielders
True but you have to give those players the best opportunity by playing to their strengths and Wilson is doing the opposite of that. You wouldn't go into the Olympics asking your best shot putter to do the long jump and have your 4x400 metre relay team made up of the Gb handball players then wonder why they haven't won anything. You'd blame the selection committee for not utilising the strengths of the sportsmen.
The club. Including DW et al. I'm not saying he's blameless but the signings aren't solely his choice. What you've no idea of us who we've tried to sign and missed out on. Given your record on Miami h about TV's being switched off I thought you see and understand that the chickens are coming home to roost after years of stagnation
I do understand the implications of a long term stale club I just don't think that us currently losing is related to that. I think it is firmly because the manager is, for reasons unknown to man nor beast, playing a formation that suits none of our players and pretty much guarantees defeat before a ball is kicked.
I know what u r saying about players but as mentioned if u put Ronnie glavin at left back, he would have been useless. Our problem (amongst others) is our system doesn't fit and he seems desperate to address it. In the chronicle the other week we had Bailey telling us he had never (or was very uncomfortable) playing defensive midfield, for what its worth, I think Bailey is a good footballer, he played well for Derby and played loads of games for them. So yea play the system that suits the majority of players (as you say super tyke). It still beggers belief, that we are recruiting seeming good players who for one reason or another are not showing anything like their cv.
I do wonder what goes on in training. Our passing at times is truly woeful, is this just a lack of confidence??
