Is Devaney Irish or English? (FM related)

FM2007 has him as Irish.

Also Togwell is down as an Attacking Midfielder, surely he should be a Defensive Midfielder.

And apparently we have young goalkeeper by the name of John Lukic

Every Monday they have a list of all Irish Players in Britain with details of Games, Goals, Yellows and Reds.

 

I did think of that

then i thought, naar, I'd have heard about it.

Obviously I didnt!

 

Why Irish though?

He was born in Cheltenham, official site has him as English.
