Time to see if it is the price that people have a problem with. I’d think that it isn’t due to the attendance we got against Blackpool. So come on those of you who say the prices are too high, its time for you to prove to the club that if prices “are” lower, attendances will rise if it costs less. As otherwise the club are justified in the prices we pay.
I dont think £20 tonight will prove anything, Tuesday night at home to Peterborough with the ground half shut. If it was Leeds/Weds at £20 it would have been close to the 20,000 mark.
£20 ? it better not be...i am not going unless it is £28! Don't worry, i have got mi bike clips on hth
Blackpool fans? Maybe 800 more of ours fans turned up. Not having a go but I think we can do better when offers like that are on.
I used to think the category system was a ball-ache. But this current system trumps it. Randomly retarded.
A bit out with your estimate, pal. 4,000 extra tarn fans turned up. And Blackpool brought double, if not more than they usually would. But yes, it didn't work....
11,434 home supporters v Blackpool. (Total att 14,134) 8,331 home supporters v Middlesborough (12,203) 8,018 home supporters v Ipswich (8,571) Not got the figure for Bristol City but the total attendance was only 8,088 so the smallest home support of the season.
I think there's 4/5 games in this division where you could slash the prices and it wouldn't make much difference to the crowd: Palace Posh Ipswich Bristol City Charlton Fair play to the club for doing so but it won't hold up in the prices v attendances argument. See if they'll make it £20 for Leeds Huddersfield Wednesday Leicester Wolves To even the argument up a little.
This is a bloody perfect example of where we are going wrong No bleeder knows how much it is to get in!
Re: This is a bloody perfect example of where we are going wrong That is the problem! If the people who take an active interest in following the club don't know the pricing, how are others who need encouraging back? If people don't know its better value at the turnstile it will have no effect.
