He's coming on every week and is starting to look like an accomplished athlete at Championship level. So surely he must be worth a look at for the England U21 or U20 teams?

I'd wager there are lads who get selected and are playing for more fashionable clubs (ie Iorfa and Hause at Wolves) or in Premier League reserve teams who are no better than our James. It'd be well deserved in my opinion should he get a call up for the next round of internationals.

God no. Even bigger chance of him getting injured.

Jack Stephen's of Southampton and Alfie Mawson were both in the last u21's squad, and both turn 23 this month so neither will be eligible to play any longer I'd imagine. So that's 2 defenders spaces which need to be filled.

I've just looked at the squad and expected it to be full of PL youth players who play very little first team football. But to be honest, the defenders, barring the 2 Wolves lads, are playing regularly(ish) in the premier league.

Once he moves to a PL club he'll be chosen straightaway, just like Holgate was
