as I'm neither. When we had the good run at the start of last season he wasn't the best manager we've had and even after the last few games in which we have been shocking, he's not the worst.</p> It seems the 'anti Davey' clan were incredibly voiceiferous in September... faded to a mutter mutter in October and November and now are back in all their pomp. Conversely the same can be said in reverse of the 'pro Davey' clan.</p> If, at the time when either isat the fore, you voice the opposite view, then you are a heretic and don't know what you are talking about and the insults fly.</p> I am disappointed with current form to say the least, but I was the same in September. Who's to say that we can't put a run together and climb away from the danger area.</p> Cue :</p> Pro Davey 'Here Here'</p> Anti Davey 'you don't know what you are on about'</p> </p> PS I find it somewhat distasteful the clamour for sacking.... just think what that means.. on the dole, out of work, no job. So he'd better deserve it. </p> </p> </p>
I have never know a manager who divides opinion as much as Simon Davey... Personally I never thought he was the man to take the club forward...... kept his job on the strength of 2 cup wins....
Symptomatic of BFC as a club We're never happy except when we're miserable and have a hate target, though I can accept that Davey is performing poorly. He persevered with poor strikers for far too long and is now reaping what he's sown. The team has not had a great player and leader to focus on and to be a fan favourite since Redfearn/Ward/Higgy left, and likewise we've not had a manager that inspires loyalty and affection from the crowd since Danny Wilson. That said I've never known a club whose fans (me included) have been so negative towards players and management for such a long time. Get us a loyal 20 goal a season striker to hero-worship and we'll be fine
ah but what would everyone say if thst striker was... .... Lee Hughes and his goals won us promotion next season..... now there's a moral conundrum.</p> (lights blue touch paper and retires to a safe distance.... er Australia)</p>
I'm not back in my pomp. </p> I've been anti-Davey since the day we signed him. </p> So put that in your pipe and smoke it.</p>
How can you make that comment ? You do not attend enough games to make a valid opinion. You are a proven liar ......below I'm only just gettin on board. Obviously Im not best pleased about bein lied about & it was only by chance I saw a kid int pub who knew me and had seen what was goin on. Needless to say, Im not impressed. Bear in mind, theres only 7 who were there that night who know what actually happened and Im sure as **** stinks that Don Millar/Windy/Mcorran (Ronald McDonald or whatever he calls himself) wasnt 1 of them. Me you Steve & Geoff Cannon, Shaun Palmer, Jamie Wilson & Andy Stacey. I rest my case. Its 1 thing being stabbed in the back by scousers but I didnt expect it from folk frum tarn. Let me have a good look, I'll see if I can ring tomorrow, I'm workin in Leeds but its a steady away job so I should get a chance. Talk later eh? Graham Linstead
wellsaid mate ithink along the same lines how many times have we put out a full uninjured team i just think and hope when every one is fit we can give any one in this league arun for there monet.
You're struggling with the meaning of the word "proof." </p> Denial doesn't do it.</p> If you're looking for proof of lying try this -</p> <font size="2">"(I go to)every home game (season ticket holder ) 400 miles round trip."</font></p> <font size="2">"Never said I went to all."</font></p> <font size="1">And just because you don't see me doesn't mean I'm not there. It doesn't work like that.</font></p>
Who is going to come back and make a difference? Colace and Foster only. That's your lot. Hume will not be back I'm afraid
