Was Hill talking himself out of the job last night after the match. He almost seemed to be asking to be sacked.
Just listened to it. It is remarkable how his tone has changed from one of utter defence of his players to over the last few weeks he has turned on them.

That's the impression I got too. Very negative and unlike him "if it's too hot in the kitchen, go sit in the living room. Someone else's living room" What did he mean by that?
Yep thats how i heard it. I don't think he was talking himself out of the job - Just think he was very angry with the performance shown. He felt let down - rightly so i'd say....
It's just you. He's slating his players. He's protected them all season because they've worked hard and competed. Sounds like they didn't last night so he's making it clear they have to. We've known all year that if we don't match a side for effort then we'll lose 99 out of 100. Players need to get back to doing what they were. But I still think we're now realising how good Drinkwater and Butterfield were together. Target's still 12 points.
