... are we crying out for a bloody good, pacy winger that will hog the touchline and offer an outlet out wide? Someone like Adam Hammill that will run at the full back and drive for the bye line to pull the ball back into the box. Could Toni Silva be that player and more to the point, where the bloody hell is he? I think the signings of Buzsacky, Greening and Tudgay have definitely strengthened the side but we are still playing too much football in front of the opposition and not getting in behind them enough. This modern day idea of playing left footers on the right and vice versa annoys the hell out of me. It just channels everything down the middle as the attacking player naturally cuts inside onto his stronger foot. Full backs used to be taught to show wingers the inside but nowadays they don't have to. Tonight is a small step in the right direction but I just don't see how or where we are likely to win a game. Certainly can't see anything in the coming two away games at all. The Wednesday game is already an absolute must win.
