Why is it at any televised sporting event the producer/director are obsessed at the slightest bit of action they have to show crowd scenes of celebratory adulation. I don’t like it and don’t understand the need. Any body agree or am I a boring old fart?
Suppose its showing the emotional side, from elation to deflation, as fans we can probably relate to hit, when liverpool fans sing you'll never walk alone especially on a champions league tie it looks amazing, if it wasn't shown I think it wouldn't give the same sense of atmosphere ( if that makes sense)
They'll probably be using it as a cut away to buy time so they can select a decent shot to go to next or to cue up any action replays/ slo-mos etc
I dont mind as long as they only do it when play is stopped - nowt wrong with showing some of the emotion associated with the event.
