Or is the computer that makes up fixtures wappy.

Weve played two tuesday night league games at home, Plymouth and Southend. The next one is QPR.

What chance have we got of getting crowds??

Surely it would be better to play wensdi, derby or someone in the same timezone on a midweek...

Having said that plymouth brought more fans on a tuesday than WBA did on a sunday

    It is ridiculous.
And to cap it off, the return fixture with Plymouth is also on a Tuesday night.
    Cheers fixture comp.

    It's not done like that

In order to reduce travel costs (i've no idea how this works) some clubs request to the football league that they play there long distance matches midweek. Something to do with not needing an hotel the night before the match.

Maybe we made such a request?

Would you prefer to play them games on Boxing Day?

The FL has made a particular effort this year (and for the last couple of years) to ensure that as many teams as possible get local games on bank holidays, and in particular over the xmas period. The flipside is that the long distance games must be fitted in elsewhere, and i for one am more than happy with this trade. I think the logic that only the most hardcore (or South-residing) BFC fans will go to Plymouth is sound, whether it is a saturday or a midweek game.

RE: Would you prefer to play them games on Boxing Day?

    The answer is yes.

I dunt matter when we play wensdi, it will be well attended.

I would happily play southend or plymouth at home on boxing day or 30 dec.

even if you had to go down there its an holiday so you have more time than you if was a working day.

    Makes sense to me
