Is it me or is this site getting more and more deserted during the day

At one time a full working shift of 8 hours could be used to read through and post.

Now it seems that there are only a small number of posts per day.

Bring back TFP and Dillinger et al.

People live in fear of their employers getting contacted. Or of being banned for contacting other people's employers. It's a double whammy.

So someone contacted his employers as well then?

Do we have a serial e-mailer on our hands?

RE: So someone contacted his employers as well then?

Sooner or later it's only going to be the self-employed and the unemployed left on here.

And the "on here" is looking a bit optimistic.

I still read during the day but the negative nature of some of the posting

just makes me not want to contribute. I used to try to put a counter argument to try to add a bit of balance but now you have to be either pro or anti Davey and slag off the reverse. I really have got to the stage where I can't be arsed most of the time. There doesn't seem to be the same level of construtive debate as there used to be and the banter seems more malicious.

In addition to this I'm busy at work trying to keep the wolf from the door.

Been thinking similar, used to live on here all day

For the last 8 years I have had the kind of job where I could piss around on here without any comebacks from work. Now I've got lumbered working for the government I haven't got time to go for a piss.

In fact this could be the most lively, vibrant and funny message board on the net these days and I'd never know.

    Thats it Dave...

    Anyway mate.

I agree. There was a time when this place was a laugh a minute now its just a bitter battle between 2 camps of differing views with a little bit of nazi politics to boot.

I think a number of posters have become readers and not posters or have taken to using the BBS more infrequently.

I hope that it'll get back to how it was just a couple of years ago.

We were in a poorly state then as a club but the general postings were actually more jovial.

I used to like TFP and his fight night postings...

... I now find myself nodding in agreement with Dirk,Jay and Redstar... and that has to be a little worrying
