we,re keeping dozy Frank to the end of the season but saying that Alastair Taylor can find another club, always thought alastair was a good young prospect and that Frank will never be a footballer while he,s got a hole in his bottom. Seems strange to me anyone feel the same or am i alone in this [ just my opinion]
I tend to agree on Frank - nothing I have seen from him in both spells and also all I hear from a West Ham Supporting mate who is also a football scout convinces me that he is anything better than a 4th division player. As for Taylor I havent seen enough of him to really have an opinion so I really dont know if we are right to release him
I've heard that Alistair Taylor's problem has never been about his talent - more about his attitude to being a professional footballer. Seems more interested in the "perks" than being a success.
Think you'll find that KH will sign Nouble. I heard him recently on Radio Sheff say "if Nouble is available, as he has to prove himself somewhere, then it's a no brainer". Personally he hasn't looked any good at Oakwell but apparently played well at Blackpool, so let's see what remainder of season brings..................
He was awful for the first 40 minutes at Blackpool and I seriously don't think he did anything right, but then with 5 minutes or so to go before half-time he suddenly turned it on and played very well, causing their defence all sorts of problems. He looks like someone who needs to believe in his ability though, so I think the support of the more senior players will get the best out of him. There was certainly enough at Blackpool (after the first 40 minutes) to make me think he's better than I had originally thought.
Seems a strange one to me. Taylor was supposed to be highly rated but has hardly been given a chance. Nouble has flopped in both spells with us but apparently our manager thinks it's a no brainer to sign him permanently.
