Apart from Wales v Belgium euro 2016 been the worst tournament ever. I can't remember my heart rate increasing. Boring in the extreme.

I though Portugal v Hungary were a bit lively tbh.

There's been one or two decent games but these have been the exception. The vast majority of the tournament has been boring, insipid and completely forgettable.

I started watching the final, then lost all interest so switched over to a German programme about a cruise ship for pensioners. Got bored with that after 2ms so had to revert to messing about on here and on Farcebook. Sterile football.

It's a bit like watching Barnsley under Johnno.

In my opinion the group stages were thrilling, but it's got worse and worse as it's gone along, culminating with me not even considering watching the final, having had an inkling that it may well be *****. Looks like I was correct.

    very ordinary

IMHO with the odd exception and the ones seen as good were probably enhanced by the mediocrity of the rest

Final has been inexorably boring. I've enjoyed a lot of the tournament but last few games have left me cold.

Disagree mate - loads of very close matches in the group stages, lit up by great, late goals. Also the final round of group games and permutations were really interesting. Being able to qualify in 3rd place has its detractors, and while I can see the arguments against, it meant that teams played quite openly. Then came the group stages, and by and large it all went horrible and cagey. Which suited a team as dreary to watch as Portugal. Reckon the'll win on pens. Out-Greeced Greece.

fair enough mate its all about opinions, I just think of other tournaments when I have had to drag myself away from games and I've not been that fussed this time. BTW do you want to have a bet on the penalties :D

Horrible tournament. Lacking in goals and excitement. It's dragged on too long as well. Group games would be more exciting if after them it was straight to the quarter finals.

Ha! Nearly got it right! Terrible end to a tournament which started so brightly. Eventually won by one of the dullest teams imaginable. Despite hardly winning a match, they just wouldn't go away. Like a turd that won't flush.

Theyve completely ruined the tournament and it seems they're happy to continue with this format. I used to love the Euro's as it was great games from the off, big teams playing each other. Now its harder to get knocked out than to stay in, absolute farce.

The group stage is rubbish now. All that fuss and half the groups only lose one team. I've watched a lot of the tournament in a kind of trance of how tense it was but it has rarely been thrilling, I agree.
