what? I personally thought we played the more attractive football and thought the team played well today, some good performances. We certainly looked more like an established championship side that Luton. Manone's an 18 year old kid who had a decent game up to his mistake - no chance with 1st goal.
I seem to remember Dave Watson make a howler against Derby where it went thru his legs and cost us the game - look what a good keeper he turned out to be. I'm amazed at how fickle people are. Yes, it's disappointing but to crucify Manone for a mistake like that - jeez! Thought we were supposed to be supporters!

2 games played 2 games he has cost us i think people are more mad that he is here. He may well turn out to be a great keeper but that will be of no benifit to us when all he has done here is cost us.
That was not a howler, that should be investigated for match fixing.......... the lad had a ***** game, his clearances were terrible, his command of HIS area was abysmal, he's hesitant, he's overrated and unfortunately he's over feckin here.
well it's me too then Cos I'd agree with what you say. Just very disappointed that it was a mistake so late that gave them the game
Yep I thought Mannone had a decent game up to then....I recall sating same about Colgan though that a goalies mistakes are invariably punished.
We played well....end of. We lost due to a mistake (again)...or did we lose cos Richards put it wide when through on goal.....come on.....everyone was on about Flinders and he let one bounce over his head the other week....he also let on dip straight in away at Hull !!! The two teams today were equally matched, scored same number of goals both poor defensive records. We had most of the play but did not convert chances ...a stupid mistake cost us.....which one !!!!????
6 YARDS! richards...how poor was his shot, he missed from 6 yards away, i know some toddlers how can put it in from there.
I thought first half Luton looked like a side heading down.
Thought we played decent attractive football most of the game.
Keeper out of his depth at this level imo, although his kicking(other than one dodgy moment first half), wasn't too bad.

i'm with you to a point seen us play better but was not that bad in parts! Hassell, Chopra, Devaney, Colgan, adnd Kay are all players who have started badly, it is all about how you react, yes 2 mistakes have cost us BUT i still think we will stay up and this is the best footy i have seen us play since 97/98 season so am not going to grumble, at least we play the right way!!!!
Chopra is the one exception in that list He was a loan player and I think the main frustration with him (certainly from my point of view) related to the fact that we bought Nardiello and then immediately brought in Michael Chopra on loan - a player that in the end we didn't have a cat in hells chance of retaining. I fully accept that Chopra "came good", but this was at the expense of Nardiello's development. The Mannone thing is similar - we are providing experience to a player that in three months time, will return to Arsenal. Meanwhile, where does that leave Kyle Letheren in terms of gaining experience? I didn't (and won't ever) boo Mannone, but I do question why he is here....
Too many points dropped for me. Yes, the football is better and the team spirit great and I applaud that but we are dropping points we can't afford to drop. My big fear is that they will cost us dear at the end of the season. And God knows what we'll do when injuries strike!!!
