Is it my imagination or has Daniel Bogdanovich found another yard of pace?

He was awesome on Monday night.
So fast and hard to track.
Also Macken seems to have found his legs again.
Is it because they are training properly and not having as much time off?
I know Robins said he was appalled at their fitness when he first arrived.
Anyway, Boggy looks a class act and long may it live.

They look much fitter - maybe the lack of fitness at the beginning of the season accounts for our poor starts while davey was in charge! We never got going until November

Is it because...

we have a proper set off staff. who, as a staff, know what they are doing?

RE: Is it because...

Probably!

I always remember thinking under Davey 'well he is tactically clueless etc.. But he does keep them fit...' because all he said every week loss after loss was that he was going to train them harder!

What a muppet

I thought so too

Never thought of Boggy as especially quick but he certainly had the beating of the Sheff Utd defence on Monday. Don't know if that's because they were particularly slow though.

Regarding fitness overall, yes, again the players do look sharper since Robins arrived, but I also think the same happened when Davey took over - there was a marked improvement on fitness levels from the previous regime and I've heard countless stories from players and staff under Davey who said that was what he did best.

Perhaps it has something to do with a desire to impress a new manager? A sub-conscious ability to get an extra few % out of the body? Just surmising like...

He played very well, but no extra pace.

Kilgallon caught him from 20 yards behind from Andersons pass in the first half. Second half he was up against Geary who has a new knee and has not played for 18 months. I think I'd have looked quick.

Fair play to Boggy though, he looks the business at the mo.

he beat Kyle Walker plenty of times so can't be that slow!

as for Macken, holds it up and feeds it well. shame he's always the one in good positions to finish :D we need him though when he's on form

Killgallon and Kyle Walker are 2 of the fastest in the Championship (Even said that on Sky !)

Boggy had a cracking game there is no denying that, in fact he has looked good since he came back from injury, but Monday night he was best player on the park.

What do you mean redsar. I'm not digging at anyone but we all should no that strikers preform best in partnerships. we have a lot of good partnerships at the moment.

CB'S, foster and Moore.
Fullbacks, Shotton Dickinson
Cm's Doyle defends the back 4 and colace chances and stops them getting down the sides.
Wingers, Anderson's the gifted players who can put a ball through most gaps when hes on is form and hammills our pace and skill player
Strikers one comes short and bogo seems to have the speed to trouble there defence over the top.

A 9 goal a season man

Is very important to our chances, if we've got a guy who will bang in a few more as well. He obviously brings far more to the side than goals, and I'm hopeful Boggy (or Gray, given a decent run) could be the one than scores 15-20.

Yes, Macken should have scored twice on Monday (in fact, if he'd just left the first one, it might have gone straight in from Dickinson anyway, but would you want a stirker to leave a ball there?) But, we're hardly in a position to buy the top players, and even they make mistakes sometimes. I personally feel Macken has more good games than bad, and has looked better since Robins took over, so cut him some slack.

Watched it with my father in law who is a Leeds fan -

he was raving about Boggy.

I thought both he and Macken were excellent, although Boggy should have squared to Macken in first half.

Killgallon - one of , if not the best, and quickest defender in the League!
