has everyone who got excited about the prospect of Chopra coming back now switched to the view that it doesn't matter about him going to Cardiff and we didn't need him anway? We bloody do need him. Our entire front line have trouble scoring against defences staffed entirely by 35 year old journeymen. We'd be lucky if the team hits double figures next season, let alone a single one of them. Sorry but the jubiliation of the play-off win has since been nothing but pissed on ever since by a lack of any positives for next season. We haven't even given Shuker the heave-ho. :'(
I've said elsewhere... get a midfielder that can pass forwards quickly instead of sideways slowly and he will score goals, if fit and selected.
RE: NADRIELLO Is that Nadriello - some new Spanish signing, or Nardiello the one who hangs around on the halfway line and occasionally scores a cracker to make everyone forget the other 89 minutes of laziness and giving the linesman's flag some action?
RE: NADRIELLO Bad day mate?
It'll be reight, don't worry. We can't match the money that uncle Peter has managed to beg, steal and borrow to pay his recent aquisistions. I'd rather make some sensible signings than worry about what our old aquarium loving ex-chairman is up to.
Once we've consolidated we'll step up a level and maybe pay a bit more. Till then, overpaid midfielders who score 4 goals in two seasons can stay at places like Cardiff for me.

RE: NADRIELLO That Jimmy Greaves he were ***** yer know all he did were score goal aye an that Dennis Law he were same.
Our attack needs improving so it has to be Chopra? Chopra who could only manage 17 in 39 in league one? That Chopra? .
yup that Chopra how many of last year's squad scored 17? To be fair most of them COULD have scored 17 if they knew when to bloody shoot.
ooooh. he's not really , he's not. although i would like to see him in the first time for an extended period
have I finally found something worth living for?....... i was lookin for some action, but all i found was cigarettes and alcohol. tune (Y)
Still don't get your logic.. You reckon he's a bit better than any of our other strikers so we have to sign HIM? You want to see ambition so why not sign someone better than him? Someone who'd manage more than 17 in league one?
RE: some might say Didn't Nardiello score 8 in 15 starts. Like I've said before, when he starts he often scores. Who would you rather have, Conlon who tries or Nardiello who gets goals. His last 3 our most important goals of the season.
you're good at this "we're looking up not sideways" stuff is it your turn on the rota this year to spout all the "wait and see - we've got something big lined up" malarky? i'll tell you what - every year it turns out to be a MASSIVE disappointment. i'm holding my breath as from......ah forget it.
Those are our Ego Defense Mechanisms kicking in you can find our more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defence_mechanism Basically, if you are denied something you wanted, it's possible to subconsciously convince yourself that you didn't really need it anyway.
