Is it not possible to accept that both Robins and Hill have done a good job?

I liked Robins and I really like Hill.

Why the obsession with arguing who's best?

Nothing wrong with a debate of course but it seems to re-rear its head regularly with folk trying to score points off each other.

It is not possible to like Robins on here anymore, you have to love Hill, his accent , his clothes. his sense of humour(sic), his love of the fans(!) and just adore his results and believe that somehow we should be allowed extra points for being pretty !!

Wish we could combine the two. The flair we're playing with under Hill and the ability to grind out a result like under Robins.

Both were good appointments as far as I'm concerned and both did or are doing a good job. Just hope we can start turning our supremacy in to wins because I believe we're a better team than 19th in the table suggests.

Interestingly, you don't mention Simon Davey.

That's because people haven't been arguing about him.

Keith Hill's football, Mark Robin's ability to grind out results, Simon Davey's FA Cup run, and absolutely **** all from Nigel Spackman. Sorted.

    EIEIEIO and all that.

    I like both of them

Under Robins, we never dropped into the bottom three, played some terrific football at times, quite dull at others. I was disappointed when he left.
Under Hill, I've enjoyed the quality of football on display and believe it's of a higher standard than it's been for years. I hope he stays around for quite some considerable time, as I think we're moving in the right direction.

Do you think Hill would be better with money to spend, or do you think this is his thing. Unearthing diamonds from lower leagues. Having loads of cash to spend doesn't always work.

    That's a good question, mate

I honestly don't know the answer, as I think he's had to do both the Barnsley & Rochdale jobs with at least one hand tied behind his back from a financial point of view. I have no doubt he'd like to be presented with the problems associated with working on a more substantial budget.

Spot on Kev. Hill has got us playing better than we have in years. IMO he is the best manager, pound for pound, in the league. I too hope he is with us for a long time yet.

Mario that is the problem, that is YOUR OPINION, just like others have theirs , but they are derided for having them.

Someone's 'right' to mock or deride an opinion is equal to having one.

You know how it works on here Mark. You burnt all your bridges when you dissed Hills accent - from that moment on you were finished ;)
