Yes yes yes !!!!!! Try this easy-peasy one.......

software called DVD Audio Ripper by a company called Imtoo (to make sure you get the right one)
Just make sure the input/output settings are set correctly, ie to 44.1 khz, if indeed this does make a difference.
I've left mine at 48 khz but it seems to come out very loud on the recording and a bit distorted. I suppose you can adjust other volume controls to compensate, I don't know.
Otherwise it works fine and is not difficult to fathom out !!!!!!!!
I can't remember if I had to buy it or if I downloaded it on a p2p site, but check it out on Google first.
Let us know if this works for you.

DVD audio is recorded at 48Khz, so the INPUT must be set to 48Khz, otherwise you'll suffer from speed and pitch problems.

For conversion to CD format (44.1Khz at 16 bit), set the OUTPUT to 44.1Khz. For all other instances, set Inpu and Output at 48Khz for maximum quality.

    DVD Audio Extractor

As far as I know, this operation cannot be done with freeware (unless you are prepared to follow a long series of steps as posted by roundsman). Expect to pay around $30.

I found DVD Audio Extractor to be a bit better than DVD Audio Ripper: http://www.castudio.org/dvdaudioextractor/

    Personal choice, though.
There is a a trail version to download at the site.

    RE: DVD Audio Extractor

Tried it and it's the best. It's available through P2P. If anyone wants to mail me I have the registration info.
