With the way that football is today, and frankly the likelihood that we will ever rise to any level of success that is more substantial than keeping our heads above water, is it time for some of the smaller Yorkshire clubs - including ourselves - to sit down and talk about a collaboration/merger?

Talking about the likes of us, Hull, Bradford, Doncaster, Hudds, Rotherham to come together presenting a united fan based that would give us the kind of following, marketing presence, financial position, that could start to compete?

There's a lot of clubs in a similar position, and while we can sit and wait for the bubble to burst - but let's face it, it's not going to.

Re-locating close to motorways links, re-branding the whole club could have the same effect!

    Lol, Yorkshire tykes..

But, in their defense, football is like any other business. And in business mergers and take overs happens all the time. So you could say why not football.

I'm not for it at all, but can see the appeal to someone who is that way inclined...
