..and have one flat rate for games for all? Adults price that is.

May seem a silly question, but is it.

    Pros and cons anyone.

Season tickets get money in the coffers for the summer transfer window. Do we want to be the only club with no advance ticket sales bringing cash in while we can spend it?

Yep starting capital needed, although we seem to recruit at the time of friendlies and then there are other sales to keep it ticking over. If we stuck with a manager there wouldn`t/shouldn`t be the need for wholesale change like we keep on seeing.

I buy a season ticket every year out of habit and then promptly miss about half a dozen games due to other commitments. If I didn't buy a season ticket I doubt very much that I'd go at all apart from the odd big game. Two of my mates are the same as me - break the habit of a lifetime and it could be gone for good.
So in my humble opinion it would be mental to discontinue advance payments generated by ST sales. £2 million advanced income could also generate a significant sum in interest as well.

Bad idea. We might make as much money but the crowds would be much lower.

Good points and strengthens the point of how hard it is to get lapsed supporters back.

Most problems can be overcome by solutions and the point of the post is for folks to look at both sides of the argument and maybe come up with solutions, that and its quiet on here and it gives folks summat to reply to.

What was the cut off date before we went even earlier to renew?

They do indeed bring in cash for the summer transfers.

Trouble is we rarely put any of this cash to any use before the season.

Our summer recruitment over the last few years has be farcical!

Bradford's model is a good one. Fills the ground and creates a feel good factor. Also gets you the money up front.

Plus points are that it would keep a steady income coming in season round and we'd only have to save up a couple of matches to get rid of any manager when we wanted.

I buy a season ticket for convenience of not having to pay out for me and the kids every home game. I I didn't get a season ticket I probably wouldn't go at all

Cant see it affecting the club, am sure they would be confident in that the product on show was worth a pay on the day price for all.

    Where are mi tablets.

They took a (big) risk on the feel-good factor from last season...Will be interesting to see what happens next summer, if this season's mediocrity carries on.

It looks to me like they don't want pay on the day fans. Which is fine from a business admin point of view, but fails to acknowledge how a lot of people would like to watch their football - and not be 'penalised' for not buying a season ticket.

There does seem to be an element of us and them about ST holders and any other interested in BFC. Same price would appear to be innit together wouldn`t it.

I'm sorry my old mate, but I believe it IS a silly question. I cannot think of any pros for it whatsoever.
