Definetly not

Even if your equipment breaks sky will send out an engineer free of charge as soon as you threaten to cancel.

My bloke is a sky TV engineer, said definately not worth paying for that cover. Your first years covered free anyway. The best boxes are the ones made by pace. Just threaten to leave sky and get cable if it does break down and sky cancellations team will most probably come to an arrangement with you, as they are big on customer retention at the moment cos they've lost alot of customers to virgin & cable.

    This is all worth knowing.

I like Sky but I could certainly live without it if push ever came to shove.

Mine broke after about 3 years, so I looked on web and got a better replacement for £65.

If I'd paid your insurance I would have spent £207.

Is there any way to get HD without paying the £10 a month subscription? Anyone got it free?
I pay for multiroom already and have sports. Inot any idea if there are plans for them to drop the £10 a month like they did with £10 month Sky+ subscription?

    thanks

You get BBC HD and Channel4 HD without an additional subscription.

But can't see Sky dropping the HD subscription anytime soon. It's a premium, and I know in the US where HD is more common that it's an additional subscription for it.

Ah, you never said it was Sky Plus!

They are much more prone to breakdown and cost more to buy. Hard one to call.
