i mean on the basis of the performance on saturday. Did we look like a championship club again?

I take it you didn't go?

After a slow start where we conceded 2 goals, we were brilliant, just couldn't stick the ball in the back of the net.

Colgan was excellent, as were Kay, Reid, Howard, Togwell, Wright.
Hayes was in and out of the game, Devaney was very poor, the rest were average.

we let two in and could have let loads in. your right kay and reid did as well as they could, the full backs let them down i think

I agree

In the post originally I put both Hassel and Hecky were pretty poor, but deleted it, it seemed too long winded!

Poor performances:
Hecky
Hassel
Devaney

RE: I agree

Thought Hecky played well - Hassell and Devaney struggled, but Hecky did very well, particularly in the air. Parry was never a threat.

The fullbacks had no support whatsoever from the player in front of them.

I thought he seemed a bit slow

Let their lot get in behind him a bit too easily. Can't slate him, everyone has an off-day.

Each to their own though

I think he is a bit slow..

but Parry was the quietest of their attacking players, and he was the right winger, and he's very highly rated. That suggests he did pretty well against him. The first goal came from his side but that was because one of our centrehalves lost Chopra. How I saw it anyway.

A yard slower? A mile would be closer!

He was just having a bad day, only seemed to get past his man once, from what I can recall.

He'll come good again in no time, although tonight, I'd like to see Wright and McParland replace Richards and Devaney.

He was same pace , its just the fullback was as quick.

His kick and run technique failed miserably.

He needs to find some "new moves" otherwise he destined to spend a lot of time on the bench.

How he missed the header I have no idea!

Reid lost Chopra

But, from my view, Hecky looked out of position.

I've only seen the highlights once since the match, and I was concentrating more on the penalty.

That was some miss!

Devaney
Richards
Hayes
Hecky
Howard

All of them had decent opportunities to score, how we lost that match, I'll never know.

1st goal was down to Howard going to close down McPhail,

when Togwell was already in front of him, it allowed Mcphail to slip a simple pass in to the midfielder who who Howard left. This guy then cruised up the pitch without anyone in front of him.

I dont their goalie had a save of note to make.

Very poor finishing.
