I agree, he's out of his depth IMO.
Spain play some very good football, done well to hold em to 1-0.

    Don't know.

But Stewart Downing certainly isn't. If he can play for England I'm not giving up my dream . . .

Downing is another that doesnt deserve his place in the side!!!

Ashley Young would have a feild day in the space Ramos leave when he piles forward!!! (thats not a critism of Ramos, think he's one of the best players in the world)

    Agreed

    Not even premiership class!!!

Just shows anyone who's lefted footed has a chance of pulling on an England shirt.

Did you see that ball he played into the box just before half time, why... he didnt even look if anyone was in the box, plus it was sh!te. Waste, just a fecking waste. We should have just picked 10 men, its the same as playing him!!

RE: About as much as Stewart Downing is...

Gabbi hasnt been able to get a touch cos the defenders and Midfielders in a white shirt just keep giving the ball to Spain at every opportunity....

    Piss Poor performance.

    SWP probably our best player.....

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Him and Lescott have been a superb partnership this season.

Deserves his chance. One mistake on his debut and he's crap? Ignore the fact that he's kept Torres quiet for the most part.

    RE: Agreed

Never understood what he offers other than being left footed. Not skilful, cant't cross, cant shoot. Maybe has a bit of pace but nothing excessive and its no good without an end product.

    Jagielka is quality for Everton

and deserves his chance in the England squad.
I also like Rob Green, 10 times the keeper than Carson who's been given chances.

    Spot on Gaz

Just like in the last two Liverpool v Everton games where Torres barely got a sniff.

I hate to admit it with the ex Sheffield United connection and all, but Jagielka has come on no end the last 2 seasons

    Very much deserves his chance

    Definately deserves a chance

whether he gets a game in competitive fixtures when all options are available is another matter. He's still only 26? and been fecked about in terms of position until this season. Could well develop into a regular I suppose.
