We will have to see. It's a brave/daft move and inviting critism if it fails. I can't remember even Machin playing 0 up front at home and dropping your 1 in 2 striker.
Watkins centre forward would be my guess. Hourihane or Williams alongside? Could work, could fail. I'm in my seat looking forward to it anyway
Can someone please describe the formation? This looks like panic stations as a selection. Someone must be playing up front, mustn't they? Is it Williams? Hourihane? Watkins? Or is the idea to counter-attack and leave Swindon guessing as to who is likely to become the striker? If it works, I will eat my words. if it doesn't .... really concerned about the rationale. Don't panic, Mr. Mainwaring.
Well we are definitely better since the switch. Still playing like the away side though. 2 good goals but I am surprised we are in the lead. Our defence still looks shakey
The answer appears to be NO judging by that result!! You Reds! Got to beat Blackpool now next Satday!
Well with team selection and formation you could be forgiven for thinking he had lost the plot first fifteen minutes. Played a lot better when winnall came on for Williams who was far from ready for a starting place and would have been in a great position to come on whilst 3 : 1 up fifteen or twenty minutes to go. Overall satisfied with performance albeit a very poor Swindon performance in defence imo. Hourihane deserved mom
