I wouldn't claim to know enough about him to say if that was true enough but he scored 13 goals last season.

How do you know he isn't any better than Nathan Doyle. Scores a hell of a lot more goals for starters.

Thirteen goals last season from midfield. Did Doyle look likely to hit that number? We do need to offer a more significant goal-threat from midfield as well as striker.

He'd help out Perkins and replace the Drinkwater type better than Doyle ever did.

NIGHTMARE r u on drugs??? Or don't u watchh any football outside of Oakwell?? Williamson n Doyle r different kinds of midfielder... Doyle could venture forward n hit the occassional shot, but his game was more about breakin up play and tackles! Williamson is a much more attack minded footballer, who likes to run with the ball and make creative runs/passes, and also likes a shot!!! Definate different midfielder to Doyle, much more of a Butterfield or Drinkwater type!! I personally would welcome the signing, we need more creative flare in the middle of the park, I liked Williamson in 2007 wen we originally looked @ him

I think Perkins will be a bit part player next season. Dawson will be first choice.

He's better IMO but don't know if he's cheaper. He was one of the blunts better performers last season and is genuine championship quality.
