Not sure if someone was pulling my sons leg.
He was in metrodome gym last night and said he got talking to this tall bloke with a barnsley training top on. bloke said he was mcnulty and was still contracted to us until next January?
Sounds strange - would he be at metrodome and why would we contract a player until January rather than end of a season

cheers. either it was him and he misheard that he was contracted until january gone, or it wasnt him. seems strange that an ex player would still be wearing a team shirt, so perhaps someone was kidding him

There's something funny about someone impersonating McNulty as he was impersonating a footballer for us.

I wouldnt mind, but my son saw him play often enough, and he thought the bloke bore a resemblence to him. You would think he would remeber a player as great as our Jim.
Maybe it was easier for a guy wearing a 15 McNulty training top to claim to be the player rather than admit that he purchased the gear
