Going to give the lads the credit they deserve for a performance like that? We battled everywhere, didn't concede and won 2-0 at home. Brilliant in my opinion against teams who with the supposed 'class' players they have we have beaten. Some clubs players in this league will be paying wages up to 10 times what our guys are on. Credit to everyone of them who have played in the last few weeks and brought about some great results... Keep going boys !!!
It's wonderful that we can compete with these richer clubs. There was nothing lucky about a win today. If we could only learn how to maintain our composure when we're under the cosh, then anything is possible when our team is greater than the sum of its parts.
I really enjoyed the game. First half we had 3/4 gilt edged chances, then they came back & had similar. Though we really dug in second half. Some great saves & clearances & lots of break aways, one finally leading to Marley's goal. Couldn't believe all the chants against Owen Coyle from their fans. Doesn't help the team surely. Happy days, off for a few pints in Headingley shortly to celebrate. COYR
Great little win, i thought we made it harder than it needed to be, but on another day it could have been 4 or 5. I enjoyed it, some great performances, best team by a mile.
Yeah was unreal that wasn't it? Loads of them went down towards the tunnel to be sure they gave him more as he left the pitch.
I thought the whole team played well against a decent side in difficult conditions today. They get a lot of credit from me.
I thought our spirit and team play against a decent team were fantastic. Blackburn fans need to have a word with themselves anti Coyle chants at nil nil must impact the team.
